Dear Rambler,

I was wondering why the lunchroom lies about what we are going to have for lunch. Recently it said we were going to have chicken fingers but instead we had honey-glazed ham!! It drives me crazy!!!!

Thanks,

Hungry Anonymous Person

Dear Hungry Anonymous Person,

I see what you are barking about but I am not positive about the mix up in the lunchroom. Maybe they don’t know what they’re making. What if someone steals the lunch and they have to make more. Mr. Scoot tells me that sometimes the lunch schedules get mixed up with the Lower School. I think they might just want to keep everyone on their paws and surprised each day. In my opinion, they should serve bacon wrapped milk bones, but Mr. Scoot said that they aren’t for people. Got to go, I smell bacon.

Sincerely,

Rambler

Dear Rambler,

Why aren’t we allowed to buy candy in the bookstore during the day? It gives me energy when I am tired and helps me focus more in class. They would make more money and we would be happier. I just don’t get it!!!

Confused and Hungry,

Nameless Person

Dear Confused and Hungry,

Candy is delicious, but it is also a lot of sugar, and teachers don’t want their students to have sugar rushes in class, I know Mr. Scoot doesn’t. Sometimes Mr. Scoot gives me a treat, but that is usually only after a walk because if he gave me one before, those squirrels would never have chance. I know it is upsetting that you’re not allowed to get candy during the day, but then you have something to look forward to at the end of the day. Try giving those teachers a break, got to go, time for my walk and you know what that means.

Sincerely,

Rambler

Dear Rambler,

What are your bracket picks for this year’s NCAA Men’s basketball tournament? I would love to know, as I am a huge college basketball fan.

Sincerely,

Basketball Fan

Dear Basketball Fan,

Mr. Scoot and I are basketball fans, but we both think the tournament would be a lot better if the Varsity Wildcats were competing for first. Mr. Scoot’s bracket is probably much better than mine because all the teams I have chosen have lost, but that might be because I wrote “Westminster Wildcats” on every line. I guess you could say I have school spirit, which is weird because I don’t really like cats, they can be very annoying. Got to go now, that darn cat is on the lawn again and she brought friends.

Sincerely,

Rambler
