While Meghan Markle decided not to have a maid of honor, Prince Harry chose his brother Prince William to be his best man.

Seven years ago, Prince William and Kate Middleton were wed on April 29, 2011. Their wedding was watched by hundreds of millions of people.

Prince Harry was William’s best man, and Pippa Middleton, Kate’s sister, was the maid of honor.

While most of the world knows about the royal family, some Middle Schoolers have no idea who they are.

Seventh grade girl Courtney O. had no idea who Prince Harry or Meghan were. Rajan K., an eighth grade boy, also didn’t know who the engaged couple were.

Lila H., an eighth grade girl, said she will watch the wedding because her mom likes the royal couple, and she said that she watched Prince William and Kate’s wedding in 2011.

Many Americans will tune in early Saturday morning at 4:15am eastern time to watch the wedding. It will be televised on multiple channels.
