With the NBA All-Star Game approaching on February 18, teams have been drafted and fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for the big game.

This year the NBA All-Star game was chosen differently. The fans voted on who they think should be captain, and LeBron James and Stephen Curry were chosen and drafted their teams.

Eighth grader Holden S. says he will be watching. Holden said, “I will be cheering for LeBron’s team because he is my favorite player, and he’s the goat.”

He also shared who he thinks got snubbed from the All-Star game. “Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder) got snubbed, but since Demarcus Cousins (New Orleans Pelicans) got hurt, it’s good that he’s the replacement. Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors), Clay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), and Al Horford (Boston Celtics) have no business being All-Stars this year, but they just won the popularity votes. Chris Paul (Houston Rockets), Lou Williams (Los Angles Clippers), and Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns) should’ve made it over them.”

Seventh grader Storey A. said he is also going to be watching the All-Star game. He said, “I will be cheering for Team Stephen because they have some of my favorite players.”

Storey A. also believed some players got snubbed from the All-Star game. He thinks Paul George got left of the All-Star roster and thought Al Horford does not deserve to be a part of the Big Game.

Tune in to watch the big game on TNT at February 18 at 8 p.m. ET. Who will you be cheering for: Team LeBron or Team Stephan?
