Many students in the middle school have different opinions on their favorite superheroes, and those vary quite a bit. A new superhero movie came out recently–Avengers: Endgame.

Many people like Iron Man the best. Fletcher F., an eighth-grader, said, “Iron Man is my favorite superhero because he started the Marvel movies.”

Captain America is also a fan favorite. He does not have any superpowers, but he is very strong and has a very powerful shield.

Ryan C., an eighth-grader, said, “I like Captain America the most because he always does the right thing and he sacrifices himself.”

Marvel tends to be more popular than D.C. The difference between the two is that Marvel tends to have more normal people with suits on, and D.C. has more gods with more superpowers.

Ryan also said, “D.C. is generally dark and doesn’t have a happy ending, but Marvel is a lot funnier and happier.”

Avengers: Endgame has jumped to number 2 in the world for the box office, just $200 million off the number 1 movie, Avatar.

Endgame was only released about three weeks ago, and already the gap is getting smaller and smaller by the day. Will Endgame be able to surpass Avatar as the top-earning movie of all time?
