Photo by Janine H. The amphitheater is one of the most popular places that middle schoolers play during recess. This huge area is mostly used for basketball, but students also use it for reading, four square, and more.

 

Photo by Janine H. Many students use the fruit break period to study for quizzes, tests, or even exams. Having a time to study for ten minutes helps students alleviate some stress about upcoming tests.

 

Photo by Janine H. Some students use the short ten minute break to do what the break was made for–eating food. Most people bring food from home and store the food in their lockers.
